How the woodart is made.
Each piece of woodart is created from recycled wood which is sourced from old houses in Sweden.
Everything is done entirely by hand, no machines are being used. Each piece of wood is sanded, cut and fitted together into intricate designs with eye dazzling colour explosions or attention grabbing metal inlays.
Every finished artwork is named after birds – the symbol of freedom.
” I´m passionate about our beautiful planet Earth and think we should take better care of it. Through my woodart I want to show that discarded material can be desirable once again; that we can reuse old material rather than making new.
Time ages material, as well as humans, beautifully. The character becomes visible in the marks and lines, and all of my art pieces clearly reflects this with its marks of rust, old nails, tar and typical wood grain. ”
